La classifica dei giocatori più boni "old style" (+English version)

Ebbene sì, abbiamo ricevuto diversi suggerimenti per le nostre classifiche... che riscuotono sempre un discreto successo, ma paiono un pochino incentrate su aitanti giovanotti trascurando un po' i belloni del passato. Pertanto, per accontentare tutti e per rispolverare alcuni bonazzi nati prima degli anni 90 (che magari le attuali ragazzine urlanti manco conoscono), vi proponiamo la nostra top5 dei boni "old style", chiamiamoli così ;-)
Well, we got some suggestions about our charts...that are liked and popular, but seem to be a little bit centred on vigorous young players leaving out the hot players of last years. So, to please everybody and to dust off some handsome players born before the 90s (that probably are quite unknown to the screaming teenagers), we present our top5 of "old style" hot players, let's call them in this ironic way!

LEONEL MARSHALL: è uno dei giocatori con l'elevazione più pazzesca mai vista (la prova è qui) e tra le sue vittorie annovera anche la love story con Aida Yespica. Ecco, a parte gli scherzi, il bel cubano caliente preferiamo ricordarlo per altri trionfi, tipo lo scudetto con Piacenza nel 2009.
This player can boast of having one of the most craziest skills of elevation we've ever seen (here you can find a demonstration) and among his victories he includes his love story with Aida Yespica. Well, joking apart, we prefer to remeber this hot cuban guy for others victories, like the Scudetto with Piacenza in 2009.

Al 4° posto si piazza...

HRISTO ZLATANOV: l'istrionico schiacciatore ha da poco oltrepassato il muro dei 9000 punti con la maglia di Piacenza (chapeau!) ma noi lo vogliamo celebrare anche per essere sempre un bel pezzo di uomo. Nonostante gli anni che passano e la maledetta nuova regola che permette di chiamare la formazione una sola volta per set, Zlaty non si scompone più di tanto e continua a martellare con i suoi attacchi ed a esibire il suo carattere focoso. C'è da sottolineare che piace tanto anche alle più giovani, d'altronde il suo fascino è innegabile.
The histrionic spiker has recently broken the record of 9000 points with Piacenza (chapeau!) but we want to celebrate him also for being such a dishy man. Despite the years go by and the new rule that admits only one call per set about the starting lineup, Zlaty doesn't turn a hair and keeps on beating with his hits and showing his hot-blooded personality. It must be underlined that he is very appreciated also by youngest girls, after all his charme is undeniable.

Al 3° posto troviamo una vera icona della pallavolo italiana...
3rd place for a real icon of Italian volleyball...

ALBERTO CISOLLA: le ragazzine che oggigiorno urlano al cospetto di Zaytsev e Vettori forse non sanno che già almeno una quindicina di anni fa le loro "antenate" si scatenavano di fronte alla Sisley Treviso. L'oggetto principale di tale amore era il bell'Alberto, con quel visino dolce e quei muscoli stile Hulk. Verdi erano anche i sorci che faceva vedere in campo agli avversari con la corazzata Sisley. Anche oggi però il Ciso nazionale si difende più che bene ed è sempre un gran bel vedere.
The teeagers that nowadays are screaming in the presence of Zaytsev and Vettori maybe do not know that at least 15 years ago their predecessors went wild in front of Sisley Treviso. The main target of this love was the charming Alberto, with his sweet face and his muscles that made him look like Hulk. And with those muscles he used to give hard times to the opponents of Sisley. Even today our Ciso gets by very well and he is always a fine sight.

Al 2° posto, ad un passo dalla vetta, si posiziona...
2nd place, so close to the top, we find...

MATEJ CERNIC: il vice campione di questa classifica è lui, il biondo più amato della pallavolo italiana. Il goriziano dagli occhi di ghiaccio ha fatto battere il cuore a milioni di spettatrici e ha incantato tutta Europa con la sua tecnica e la sua completezza in tutti i fondamentali. Oggi fa il marito, il papà e gioca in A2 a Corigliano.
The vice-champion of this chart is Matej, the most loved blondie of Italian volleyball. With his ice-like eyes he made the heart of lots of fans pound and enchanted all Europe with his talent and completeness in every fundamental. Now he is a husband and daddy and still plays in A2 League in Corigliano.

Al 1° posto, re incontrastato di questa classifica, troneggia...
At 1st place we have the undisputed king of this chart...

IVAN MILJKOVIC: chi ci poteva essere al primo posto se non lui?? Su questa posizione, amici ed amiche, non accetto soluzioni alternative. Sogno proibito di tutte le appassionate di pallavolo almeno over25, ancora ce lo vediamo davanti agli occhi mezzo nudo che festeggia lo scudetto vinto con la Lube. Per i pochi che non lo sapessero, l'immagine incriminata è questa:
Who could be at the top of the chart apart from him? Concerning this decision, dear friends, I cannot accept any different solution. Forbidden dream of every volleyball fan at least 25 years old, we still see him in front of our eyes, half-naked, celebrating the Scudetto. For the few ones who don't remember the picture I'm talking about, here it is:

Purtroppo già da qualche anno non lo vediamo calcare i campi italiani e nemmeno lo possiamo ammirare in nazionale, ma abbiamo le prove che anche in Turchia, col capello corto e brizzolato, è sempre un bonazzo da paura. Direi che è sempre in perfetta salute.
Unfortunately, since some years we cannot see him on Italian courts nor in his national team, but we found the evidence that also in Turkey, with short and grey-speckled hair, he is always absolutely awesome. And, I would add, in perfect shape.
